Job Summary
Support the site Finance Manager in managing day-to-day financial activities and driving site performance through timely analysis and business partnering. Collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and support decision making. Analyze transactional and operational data, identify anomalies, and recommend accruals or reversals to ensure accurate reporting. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes while assisting with post-acquisition integration activities and the implementation of new finance systems such as SAP and Oracle. This role requires a finance professional to improve Wuppertal site performance within a global manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience
- Experience in Financial Analysis
- Experience in Manufacturing Finance
- Experience in Plant Controlling
- Experience in Cost Accounting
- Experience preferably within a global manufacturing environment
- Proficient user of systems (SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel)
- Experience with ERP implementation or migration projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner
- Attention to detail
- Ability to consistently deliver high quality work
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in deadline driven environment
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Good understanding of financial controls
- Good understanding of internal control environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to effectively partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams
- Experience supporting post-acquisition integration activities
- Experience supporting finance process standardization
- Fluent In German C1
