Job Summary
Plant Financial Analyst rotates through the Irving, TX Asphalt Roofing Plant to learn manufacturing finance, internal controls, supply chain, and people leadership. After successful rotations, you may be deployed to open finance positions across Owens Corning’s US facilities. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data for complex financial studies, preparing business recommendations, supporting budgeting/forecasting and monthly close, MD&A, SEC disclosures, and communicating financial performance with stakeholders. The role emphasizes applying BI tools (Power BI) and finance systems (SAP, Business Objects, BW), adherence to GAAP and SOX controls, and contributing to continuous improvement within the Finance function. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Finance or related discipline and 2+ years of financial analysis experience; preferred experience in process improvements and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- 2+ years of financial analysis experience within a manufacturing or corporate environment
- Some exposure to Power BI, SAP, Business Objects, and Business Warehouse or similar systems required
- Must be relocatable to any US facility across the Owens Corning Network
