Job Summary
Finance Analyst in Castrol Japan's accounting team leads financial reporting and regulatory compliance, ensuring statutory accounts and tax compliance while applying Group Accounting Policies. Responsibilities include robust internal controls (JSOX), liaising with Shared Services for monthly/quarterly/year-end close, ensuring accuracy of financial statements, supporting audits of listed entities, and contributing to governance and data security. The role supports AP/payments, Japan projects, and coordination with the FBT team, with a hybrid office/remote work arrangement in Tokyo. Qualifications include a bachelor degree in finance or professional accounting (Nisho Boki), experience in financial reporting using ERP systems (JDE/SAP preferred), and strong English communication in a multi-cultural environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a finance related field or professional accounting qualification (Nisho Boki)
- Knowledge in accounting policies, including JGAAP, IFRS, IR
- Experience in financial reporting and operation using ERP system (JDE,SAP preferred)
- English communication and change management skills
- Ability to participate in projects in multi-stakeholder environments
- Proactively learn Group Accounting Policies and internal controls
