Job Summary
Prepare and finalise monthly profit and loss statements for venues, analysing labour costs and operating expense accruals. Review weekly P&L performance against budget, identify variances, and investigate material reconciling items during balance sheet reconciliations. Communicate financial insights and findings to key stakeholders to support business decision-making and improve financial performance. This role supports the Management Accounting team to achieve an accurate and timely month-end close. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliant financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree majoring in finance
- A minimum of 12 months of practical experience within a large or mid-tier accounting firm or a similar role in industry
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective organisation and time management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Honesty, integrity and trust
- Ability to work in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Studying towards CA or CPA preferred
