Job Summary
Finance AI Expert to develop unique, defensible finance AI insights and address AI priorities for finance leaders. Lead the investigation of AI use cases across traditional, generative, and agentic AI techniques; design pilots, scale initiatives, and ensure governance of finance AI tools; navigate the vendor landscape; connect AI to finance process automation and wholesale transformation; produce highly consumable insights for CFOs, FP&A, Controllers, and transformation leaders; deliver challenging research and client-ready presentations for Gartner events and client briefings; mentor junior team members; travel up to 25% for client engagements and events. Demonstrate thought leadership, research rigor, and the ability to engage executives with concise, impactful analyses and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience in finance
- 3+ years of AI for finance experience
- Experience deploying AI functionality in embedded tools or homegrown AI solutions
- Exposure to data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making and coding (Python)
- Strong written and verbal proficiency; analytical and presentation skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Ability to travel up to 25%
