Job Summary
Automate the Finance Function by building scalable, AI-enabled workflows and reporting pipelines that pull from the ERP, order management, and advertising platforms to provide proactive financial insights. Develop on-demand reporting and analytical tools for real-time visibility, while leading the annual budgeting process and maintaining the three-year financial model. Own weekly cash positioning and liquidity planning to ensure proactive cash management, and produce board and executive reporting packages that support strategic decision-making. This role combines financial expertise with modern data tools to transform Finance into a forward-looking strategic partner. You will validate AI-generated insights through human review and financial controls before they reach leadership. Located in New York City with a hybrid schedule of three office days and two optional remote days, this position offers a base salary of $120,000–$145,000 plus equity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or another highly analytical finance function
- Fluent in accounting and FP&A
- Advanced SQL
- Ability to work directly with data warehouses to build reporting
- Enough Python to automate recurring workflows
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial modeling
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to both finance and cross-functional stakeholders
- A proactive, self-directed individual who enjoys creating new processes, driving automation, and thriving in environments with significant ownership and ambiguity
- This position will be located in New York City
- Hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Monday–Wednesday) and 2 optional remote days (Thursday–Friday)
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CFA designation (or working toward one)
- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP or financial planning systems
- Experience at a high-growth AdTech company
