Job Summary
Lead accounting and controllership for Corporate Functions; oversee equity investment accounting and reporting for Citi Ventures and portfolios; manage legal entity management and related systems (CLEMS, CLEMS EI, Investment Platform); direct monthly/quarterly close processes, balance sheet ownership, and internal/external reporting; drive data accuracy across systems and ensure compliance with reporting requirements; partner with Risk and Control teams to identify operational risks and drive process transformation, including AI-based opportunities; develop and monitor controls, respond to accounting questions, and influence cross-business collaboration; requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of finance/accounting experience; strong communication, data handling, and proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint; CPA or MBA is a plus; primary location in Getzville, NY with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience in a Global Organization
- Proficiency with Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, accounting judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- CPA or MBA is a plus
