Finance & Accounting Lead

Job Summary
Finance & Accounting Lead responsible for preparing and reviewing accounting records, financial statements and reports monthly; oversee general accounting processes, inter-company transactions, and financial reporting for multiple entities; ensure GST/VAT/WHT and corporate tax submissions; manage statutory audits under local GAAP and IFRS; drive internal controls and AI-driven process improvements; coordinate with outsourced accounting/finance partners across jurisdictions; oversee payment processing and vendor management; assist with investor reporting, group consolidation, management analysis, and ad-hoc financial queries; manage accounting system administration and documentation of finance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation in South East Asia
- Experience 10-15 years, preferably in technology companies, with at least 3 years as a People Manager
- Experience in startup environment preferred
- Experience with IFRS and group consolidation (Singapore)
- Ability to coordinate with diverse teams across multiple locations
- Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to manage external service providers, coordinate with multiple stakeholders and time zones, and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
