Job Summary

Lead and supervise the complex income audit team across Fontainebleau Miami Beach and JW Marriott, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant recording of daily revenues, settlements, statistics, and tax liabilities. Balance and verify all revenue streams between the PMS, POS, and subsystems, then reconcile to the general ledger and daily reports. Oversee the daily audit process, validate third-party revenue and commissions, and partner with Operations, Revenue Management, and Tax to safeguard revenue integrity. Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report to leadership while maintaining internal controls and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive hotel accounting/income audit experience
  • multi-property or complex experience
  • Experience in a large, full-service luxury hotel, resort, or convention property
  • familiarity with high-volume F&B, banquets, spa, retail, and nightlife/entertainment revenue
  • Working knowledge of Florida and Miami-Dade County sales, use, and transient/occupancy tax requirements
  • Experience with Opera/OPERA Cloud, Micros/Simphony, Infogenesis, Sun, Oracle, or comparable hospitality systems
  • CPA, CHAE, or progress toward certification
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-volume data reconciliation)
  • strong general computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Demonstrated experience reconciliating balance sheet accounts, preparing journal entries, and supporting monthly close in a multi-property or complex environment
  • Experience in verifying third-party revenue and commissions (OTAs, wholesalers, group housing, leased outlets/tenants, gift card providers) and resolving discrepancies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across two properties
  • Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership skills, including the ability to train, develop and hold accountable a team of income auditors
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) and establish and maintain effective working relationships with property operations leaders, corporate finance, tax, internal audit, and external auditors
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, and other instructions

Desired Qualifications
