Job Summary
Oversee all operations in the Corporate Accounting & Finance Department; direct and coordinate accounting functions including accounts receivable/payable, auditing, and financial reporting; establish and maintain accounting principles and procedures; develop systems, policies, and procedures for financial matters; ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; coordinate consolidation and preparation of internal/external financial statements, budgets, and reports; monitor cash flow, coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure proper internal controls; supervise subordinates (Assistant Controller, Manager) and foster staff development; require a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred), 7 years of progressive accounting experience with 5 in management; English/Japanese language skills preferred; strong leadership and financial management competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university required
- CPA license preferred
- 7 years progressively more responsible experience in accounting, of which 5 years were in a managerial capacity
- Tour operation and information knowledge preferred
- English/Japanese speaking preferred
