Job Summary
Controller overseeing all operations of the Corporate Accounting & Finance Department in Honolulu, Hawaii, including accounts receivable/payable, auditing, and financial reporting; directs accounting principles, systems, and procedures in compliance with GAAP and governmental regulations; responsible for budgeting, consolidation, cash flow monitoring, internal controls, tax/regulatory compliance, insurance administration, and coordination with auditors and upper management; requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA preferred), 7 years of progressive accounting experience with managerial responsibilities, and English/Japanese language proficiency. The role is based in Honolulu with an in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university required
- CPA license preferred
- 7 years progressively more responsible experience in accounting, of which 5 years were in a managerial capacity
- Tour operation and information knowledge preferred
- English/Japanese speaking preferred
