Finance & Accounting Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and management reports while assisting with uploading annual budgets into SAP. Review financial results to highlight variances and trends, then support management with business analysis for strategic decision-making. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing journal entries, and calculating royalty expenses. Monitor Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, support external auditors, and file monthly sales tax returns and annual special tax filings. Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and internal controls, then implement new processes and reporting tools as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and financial modeling
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across departments, including the Purchasing Team, Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Order Team, and Operations
- Adaptable and comfortable navigating changing priorities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Continuous learning mindset with an interest in accounting standards, financial planning, and business operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Business One is preferred
