Job Summary
Finance & Accounting Analyst Intern supports day-to-day accounting, treasury and budgeting activities, and tax/compliance across NAVER U.Hub and U.S. entities. Responsibilities include assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual closing, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement prep, cash management and intercompany transactions, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, internal reporting, coordinating federal/state tax filings, preparing audit documentation, and contributing to process improvements across multi-entity operations. Requires solid foundation in accounting principles (US-GAAP; IFRS a plus), strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective written/spoken communication; Korean language skills are a plus. Hybrid work arrangement in El Segundo, CA (in-office and remote). Eligible applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. CPT/OPT required for F-1 students; sponsorship is unavailable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (US-GAAP and IFRS knowledge is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Korean language skills are a plus)
- Prior internship experience or relevant accounting coursework is a plus
- CPA-track or coursework toward CPA eligibility is a plus
