Job Summary
Final Assembly Technician responsible for preparing completed trucks for quality control inspection by completing finishing, installation, and testing tasks to company standards. Key duties include cleaning trucks to achieve a professional final appearance, mounting and installing equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits, document holders), conducting stability and aerial time testing, recording truck weight/height, applying non-skid materials, performing touch-up painting, ensuring safety and quality compliance prior to QC inspection, and maintaining an organized work area. Experience with hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, adherence to instructions and safety procedures, and the ability to lift and work in a production environment are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and safety procedures
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in a production environment
