Job Summary
Own executive-level relationships with national retail partners across furniture, appliances, and big-and-bulky home delivery, serving as the senior point of contact for final mile strategy and performance. Drive meaningful growth by developing and expanding large-scale enterprise programs while engaging retailer leadership to understand delivery challenges and long-term priorities. Shape operationally sound, scalable delivery solutions aligned with brand standards and provide executive oversight during new program launches. Partner closely with operations and support teams to align service quality, performance metrics, and continuous improvement, acting as the internal voice of the customer to influence cross-functional teams. Maintain awareness of evolving retailer expectations and industry trends to inform partnership strategy. Work remotely with 25–50% travel based on retailer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience leading or owning final mile, home delivery, or field service operations within a national retail or consumer-facing organization
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with executive leaders in corporate procurement, supply chain, or home delivery
- Deep understanding of final mile delivery models, including installs, service quality metrics, damage drivers, and peak execution
- Proven ability to influence outcomes through credibility, operational insight, and partnership rather than transactional selling
- 25–50% travel based on retailer engagement and business needs
