Job Summary
Manage Final Mile delivery, assembly, and repair teams by picking up, delivering, and installing products to manufacturer specifications at customer homes. Coordinate 2-person teams for large item handling or operate independently for in-home repairs using manufacturer-provided parts. Safely transport and assemble equipment such as basketball hoops, fitness gear, furniture, and backyard products while managing mobile apps to complete jobs. Maintain a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and DOT/MC authority; provide and maintain required vehicles (van, sprinter, or box truck) and tools. Accept only work matching your team's equipment and capabilities to maximize volume. Join AIT's growing network of independent contractors for weekly settlements ranging from $40,000 to $100,000+.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- Must be physically capable of lifting, delivering, and assembling products
- Must provide and maintain required tools and vehicle(s)
- EIN required
- Must meet AIT insurance, registration, and compliance requirements
- DOT/MC authority required for some work
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT standards
- Pass background checks
- Pass drug screens
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering, assembling, or repairing products in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to safely handle and assemble large items such as: Basketball hoops (portable & in-ground), Fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, etc.), Furniture, home goods, and backyard products (playsets, pergolas, grills, etc.)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps to manage and complete jobs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a 2-person team (except for repair)
