Job Summary
Visually inspect processed panels on a light table to detect defects such as bridges, breaks, slivers, line reduction, voids, excessive copper, or poor plating. Rework pieces if possible. Use light tables, small hand tools, and other instruments while maintaining good manual dexterity and vision. Perform duties in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt, and chemicals, standing for long periods and occasionally exerting up to 25 lbs of force. Training may occur on an earlier shift for the first four to six weeks before assuming the permanent 2nd shift schedule from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime potentially available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Standing for long periods of time
- Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally
- Good manual dexterity
- Good vision
- Use of light table
- Use of small hand tools
- Use of other small instruments
- Permanent schedule Monday - Friday from 3:15 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.
- Training on 1st shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Training on mid-shift: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
