Job Summary
Review final-stage translation projects for adherence to client specifications and company quality standards, focusing on names, numbers, punctuation, grammar, and glossary usage. Consult with Project Managers to clarify expectations and provide feedback on significant issues, then file Corrective Action Forms to drive improvements. Deliver completed projects to clients via preferred platforms while ensuring all necessary files and guidelines are met. Utilize supplemental materials such as style guides and reference documents to maintain accuracy throughout the non-language final-eye review process.

- Familiar with the life-cycle of a normal job
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to communicate information or feedback clearly
- Ability to work comfortably in MS Office and PDF formats
- Ability to properly utilize all appropriate supplemental materials
- Ability to proofread documents with a strong focus on names, numbers, missing text, punctuation/spelling, grammar, adherence to instructions, proper use of glossaries/memory/reference materials or other significant issues
- Ability to provide feedback to Project Managers or others who are involved in the project
- Ability to file Corrective Action Forms as needed
- Ability to deliver projects to the client on the client's preferred platform
- Ability to follow client's guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail

- Strong MS Office/computer skills

- Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Prior copy-editing experience
- Experience in a translation company
