Job Summary
Final Assembly Worker for 1st shift (6AM-2PM) located in Mitchell, SD. Responsible for locating, retrieving, and assembling parts onto coolers according to work order instructions, preparing completed units for shipment by moving them to a skid and labeling them, using a saw to cut plywood for skids, meeting production quotas set by supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Requires ability to read blueprints, use basic computer programs, perform basic math, handle measurement tools, and inspect quality for necessary repairs or adjustments. Physical duties include lifting up to 25 lbs, standing/walking for portions of the shift, and operating tools such as chain hoists and pallet jacks. On-the-job training provided; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required
- prior experience in Assembly is preferred
- Read and understand the work instruction list and print off the related blueprints
- Ability to read, write and understand detailed blueprint instructions
- Ability to use basic computer programs
- Basic math skills and ability to use and understand measuring tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Regular physical attendance is required for this position
