Filtration/Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Monitor filtration systems at managed farms during the October–May season, inspecting equipment to ensure operational readiness and occasionally installing components. Review building plans and specifications, order filtration supplies through Purchasing, and maintain organized spreadsheets detailing farm components. Relay system problems via photos to managers, coordinate daily and weekly schedules with contractors and the Maintenance Manager, and keep daily activity records. Provide Quality Control and Quality Assurance for site construction, modify SOPs with the Director of Sow Operations, and perform emergency unscheduled repairs as assigned. Follow bio security protocols to ensure compliance for employees and outside contractors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years experience in the industry
- 1 year plumbing/electrical working knowledge
- Ability to perform in highly interruptive conditions
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under frequent time pressures
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in reading blueprints and schematics
- Strong time management skills
- Effective oral and written skills
- Some basic working knowledge of plumbing and electrical
- High School Diploma preferred
