Job Summary
Conduct HVAC filter change-outs and unit cleaning at the BP Refinery in Whiting, IN, while also handling special projects and potential work from Des Plaines, IL. Read work orders, follow FSI and customer procedures, and maintain service vehicle cleanliness through daily and weekly inspections. Communicate efficiently with co-workers, customer technicians, and supervisors while adhering to all safety regulations. Work independently and on teams, often outdoors in all weather conditions, with weekend and overtime availability. This role offers experience in the trades for those with construction or roofing backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older to be considered
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
- After training must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- MUST be willing to work Weekends and Overtime as needed
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis
- Comfortable working on Platforms and with Ladders
- 99% of our Daily duties are performed outdoors must be comfortable and willing to work in all types of weather conditions e.g. hot temp, rain, wind, cold, snow, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Experience a Plus
- HVAC: at least 1 year (Preferred)
- OSHA: at least 1 year (Preferred)
- Service technician: at least 1 year (Preferred)
