Job Summary
Create compelling video content for university events, campaigns, and promotions, overseeing all visual and creative aspects of production. Direct scripts, scenes, and characters to bring narratives to life; define style, tone, and mood in collaboration with Art Directors, Camera Crew, Set Designers, and Editors. Coordinate production processes to meet deadlines, budgets, and creative goals; capture high-quality content for events and campaigns; strengthen the university’s brand and digital presence through storytelling; lead production teams and coordinate resources. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and proven filmmaking/videography experience, with proficiency in editing software and strong storytelling, lighting, and sound skills. Experience in hospitality and event videography is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film Production, Communication, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Filmmaker, Videographer, or Director with strong portfolio evidence of advanced video projects
- Previous experience in hospitality and event videography is highly preferred
- Proficiency in editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Advanced technical skills in digital equipment, lighting, and sound
- Budget and resource management experience
- Ability to lead and coordinate production teams effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging video production and digital media technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing video production for large-scale academic or institutional events
- Proven ability to direct scripts and performances
- Strong portfolio of advanced video projects in hospitality/events context
- Edit with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
