Filling Technician

Job Summary
Produce labeled containers and packages by filling proper materials in preparation for warehouse storage or customer shipment. Check containers for cleanliness, set up pumps and filters, and fill containers by weight as instructed on batch tickets. Operate, assemble, disassemble, and clean filling machines, tanks, and equipment. Palletize filled materials for forklift handling and wash machinery within the department. Maintain department records, ensure all labor hours are properly documented, and follow company safety regulations. Work assigned hours and overtime as required while enduring temperatures up to 105 F. and performing frequent lifting up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Willingness to wear PPE (like a respirator) and use equipment like drum dollies and forklifts (we'll train you!)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing or filling experience
- Familiarity with batch tickets or labeling systems
- Experience working with industrial coatings or paint
