Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes associated with vial and cartridge filling of insulin and media preparations under aseptic conditions. Achieve production goals while maintaining aseptic areas, performing sanitizations, and conducting environmental monitoring. Participate actively in event response, review documents as required, and assist during equipment maintenance including restoration of lost function and predictive maintenance. Record and review production data in BPRs and associated forms while following all safety and environmental requirements. Shifts require being on your feet for up to 12 hours, moving equipment weighing up to 33 pounds, and working in loud noise environments with hearing protection. Candidates must have corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 and may require color vision. This role supports Novo Nordisk's global network of manufacturing professionals producing innovative injectable diabetes and obesity treatments at the PS AM facility in Clayton, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write & understand complicated product documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment
- Aseptic processing experience
- Computer literacy
