Job Summary
Process prescriptions at the designated filling station along the conveyor to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Maintain filling station cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels while packaging orders for patient shipment. Support inventory activities and monitor station queues to maintain quality assurance and meet daily pharmacy goals for timely delivery. Demonstrate superior communication skills to resolve patient issues and adhere to core values in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma /GED
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must be eligible to work in this country
- Must be willing to obtain a registration status upon hire (if not currently registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy)
Desired Qualifications
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Prior experience in a pharmacy environment
- Prior pharmacy technician experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Passion to help people and enrich their lives
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems
- Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during production activities
