Job Summary
Monitor incoming container quality and supply levels to ensure uninterrupted filling line operation. Calibrate automatic filling machines, verify batch tickets, and check weights and appearance for drips while retaining samples. Operate lid droppers, label machines, bail-o-matic units, case packers, and palletizers to maintain proper product information and seal integrity. Maintain forklift and related equipment, input accurate fill counts into electronic systems, and follow all safety and environmental guidelines. Work Mon-Fri shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Basic math skills, ie: addition/subtraction
- Ability to work in a team environment and work cross-functionally
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness
- Ability to use company software and computer system programs
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work safely and follow SOP's
- Ability to work overtime (up to 4 hours past regularly scheduled shift) and weekends when required
- Ability to operate fill by weight machine, video jet, labeler, palletizer, case packer, can and carton computer and depalletizer
- Ability to operate the tower independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line and quart line independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line casepacker and five line independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line and operate a small batch
- Ability to use forklift, winch and trolley system
