Job Summary
Monitor incoming quality of containers and supply areas to ensure uninterrupted filling line operation. Calibrate automatic filling machines, verify batch tickets, and check weights and quality appearance while retaining samples for the control lab. Operate lid droppers, label machines, bail-o-matic machines, case packers, and palletizers to maintain proper product flow and information accuracy. Maintain forklift and related equipment, input data into electronic systems for inventory control, and follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines. Work Sun-Thursday shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am with up to four hours of overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Basic math skills, ie: addition/subtraction
- Ability to work in a team environment and work cross-functionally
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness
- Ability to use company software and computer system programs
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work safely and follow SOP's
- Ability to work overtime (up to 4 hours past regularly scheduled shift) and weekends when required
- Ability to operate fill by weight machine, video jet, labeler, palletizer, case packer, can and carton computer and depalletizer
- Ability to operate the tower independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line and quart line independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line casepacker and five line independently
- Ability to operate a gallon line and operate a small batch
- Ability to use forklift, winch and trolley system
