Job Summary
Operate filling line equipment to ensure accurate filling, sealing, and packaging of products on the D shift. Read and follow production schedule instructions; set up, operate, adjust, and repair filling line equipment (feeds, scales, automatic fillers, film, back/sealers, weight settings, production codes, metal detectors, checkweighers); monitor veg mix systems, case erectors, conveyors, case coders, casers, taper, palletizer; coordinate startup, changeovers, and shutdown; supervise line workers on proper operations; maintain packaging materials, ingredients, and finished goods; support machine efficiency, report deviations from specifications or equipment malfunctions; maintain housekeeping and production records (Darview entries, scanner testing, roll change reports); perform equipment teardown for cleaning and assist with large-scale maintenance as needed.
