Filler Operator

Job Summary
Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment to process milk, cream, and other dairy products in a continuous flow vat. Complete all required quality checks, documentation, and sanitation policies while collecting samples for Quality Assurance testing. Adjust filler timing, troubleshoot operating issues, and perform line changeovers safely. Monitor wrapper equipment for jams and ensure correct packaging materials are used. Adhere to food safety and SQF standards, assist in identifying process improvements, and operate casing and stacking equipment. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to accurately record data
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually the entire shift
- Occasionally required to climb or balance
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 lbs
- Ability to work for extended periods in a cold, damp environment
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Exposure to nut allergens
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the food and beverage industry
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting process and equipment data to improve quality and throughput
- Bilingual skills
