Job Summary
Filler Operator (3rd shift) is responsible for filling and packing products per Work Order specifications following GMPs and safety procedures. Duties include setting up and operating filler machines, performing sanitation and CIP/SIP tasks, monitoring product quality, conducting regular quality checks, maintaining production logs, and assisting with minor machine repairs. Requires adherence to SOPs/GMPs, safe handling of packaging materials, documentation of weights and lot numbers, and collaboration with Quality to ensure food safety and quality standards. Must understand part numbers, lot numbers, and production descriptions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and lean manufacturing awareness. High school diploma or GED and 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred; English literacy and basic math skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Read, write, speak English
- Basic math and weights & measures
- Ability to comprehend basic computer and control systems
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Team-oriented, good work ethics, reliable attendance
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
