Job Summary
Operate and monitor automated bottling, filling, and packaging equipment to ensure continuous production, adjusting machine speed based on demand. Identify and clear jams, load hoppers with adequate supplies, and perform routine maintenance including valve replacement and oiling capper heads. Monitor fill levels, troubleshoot operational issues, and apply labels while transferring finished products to shipping. Record production data, dispose of spoiled product, and complete shift paperwork accurately. Communicate equipment concerns to supervisors and support team operations. Requires one year of machine operator experience, food manufacturing background, and ability to lift 60 pounds. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of machine operator experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work in confined spaces and around production machinery
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as required
- Must be able to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to follow established sanitation, safety, and production procedures
- Must be able to wear steel-toed or composite-toe safety shoes
- Must be able to wear a hard hat in designated production areas
- Must be able to wear hair nets, beard covers (if applicable), hearing protection, and other required PPE
