Job Summary
Fill finished batches into packaging types documented on fill sheets and package goods according to specifications. Verify components and packaging for production, ensure all packages are properly labeled, and confirm finished units are on correct pallets. Follow fill procedures and closure specifications accurately, complete fill tickets and QA Manual paperwork, and maintain clean, organized work areas. Adhere to R.M. Lucas Co. Forklift Safety Programs, minimize waste, and use equipment correctly while following all safety requirements including PPE. Work 6am to 230pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Walk, stand, bend, twist, and or lift/reach overhead throughout the shift
- Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs
- Follow all safety requirements including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment – PPE (safety glasses, required footwear, hearing protection, hand protection, correct lifting methods, etc.)
- Must be available for hours 6am to 230pm (Monday - Friday) with occasional overtime
