Job Summary
Fill Room Technician at Corbion is responsible for filling and packaging lactic acid and derivatives in the Fill Room, moving packaged finished product, and transacting information in the SAP system. The role includes operating and maintaining packaging equipment, performing material handling tasks, ensuring GMP/SOP/HACCP compliance, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and supporting various supply chain and operations activities. The position requires working in a plant environment with PPE usage and the ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform moderately heavy physical activity; the work entails temperature variations from -15oF to 120oF.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, calculating and computer skills
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment including Forklifts and Turret trucks
- Experience reading specifications and interpreting routine production operating procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery including the filling equipment and the conveyors
