Job Summary
Fill gauges, assemble components to seals, and modify dials while adhering to quality standards and work instructions. Pick materials from the warehouse to fulfill production and customer order requirements, then assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks as needed. Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurately record inventory movements, shipments, and received materials from carriers like UPS and FedEx. Lift 50+ pounds and work comfortably in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This role supports Daughtridge Sales Company's specialized distribution of pressure gauges and instrumentation products across aerospace, automotive, and medical markets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality on every task
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Reliable, organized team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn shipping and inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work comfortably in a warehouse and production environment (standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a production, assembly, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and shipping label systems (UPS, FedEx)
