This part-time Figure Skating Instructor position involves supervising and instructing various skating programs under supervision, requiring coaching experience, skating proficiency, and responsible record-keeping.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience coaching or assistant group lessons for Instructor I
- Three years experience coaching in group and private lessons for Instructor II
- Five years experience coaching in group and private lessons for Instructor III
- Three years of skating experience for Instructor I
- Five years of skating experience for Instructor II
- Maintain current U.S. Figure Skating Coach Compliance and Accreditation for Instructor III
- Instructor shall be a working Figure Skating Instructor with a combination of at least three criteria for Instructor III
- Successful completion of the U.S. Figure Skating tests as specified for each Instructor level
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
- Knowledge of United States Figure Skating Basic Skills program format
- Concussion recognition training
