Job Summary
Vice President, Partnerships leading revenue-centric strategy, building and managing a portfolio of partnerships, and overseeing activation strategies to grow partnership revenues. The role includes leading a team of partnership professionals, designing and implementing commercial strategies, cultivating new partnerships while expanding existing relationships, overseeing the department budget and KPIs, building an entity-wide CRM (Salesforce) for collaboration, and developing compensation plans to attract top talent. The executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, ticketing, and events) to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and drive seven-figure partnerships to support live events and Foundation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years’ experience in partnership development, commercial strategies, and team management
- Experience with Salesforce.com CRM system or similar with strict adherence to process and data analysis
- Experience with MS Office Suite and proposal creation
- Proven track record of securing, managing, and growing partnerships
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading and developing talent
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and change
- Deep understanding of the sports and live events industry and sponsorship/partnership landscape
- Commitment to the values and mission of the Foundation
- Proven track record of securing partnerships of all sizes, supporting small events and community engagement activities, as well as seven-figure partnerships to support live events and integrated partnerships across multiple Foundation activities
