Job Summary
The McLendon Leadership Events Fellow will support event operations and management for Fiesta Sports Foundation events, assisting with planning, coordination, promotion, and execution; handling event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, invoicing, and reporting; supporting participating teams and travel parties, and compiling after-action reports, while gaining exposure to nonprofit sports/event management in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or currently pursuing relevant field of study
- Self-starter with a strong interest in sports, nonprofit operations, and event management
- Interest in gaining entry-level experience in the sports and events industry
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, vendors, and external partners
- Interest in event operations, logistics, and project coordination
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
