Job Summary
Demonstrate safe work behaviors while operating electric, acetylene, and semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate structures from drawings or sketches. Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment in the field by restoring damaged steel and cast iron components through welding, disassembly, and reassembly. Manage material inventory for fabrication projects and maintain strong customer relations. This role supports the Service department's maintenance, repair, and fabrication of parts and structures across Eastern Canada locations.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- Welder Certificate in GMAW, SMAW and FCAW
- experience as a Certified Machinist for Diesel or Heavy Equipment
