Job Summary
The Field Welder position at TEAM, Inc. requires a safety-focused welding technician with a minimum of three years of experience in various welding activities. Duties include leading field welding operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, operating welding machines to fabricate metal products, interpreting production schedules, performing inspections of welded surfaces, and maintaining equipment. Applicants must possess an Associate’s degree or relevant vocational training, along with the ability to pass a Code Welder exam and operate GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW equipment. A current TWIC card or the capability to obtain one is also required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Associate’s degree, training in Vocational school, or relevant industry experience required
- Three (3) years of experience in welding
- Ability to pass a standard Code Welder exam required
- Ability to operate GTAW, SMAW and GMAW welding equipment required
- Driving License required
- Possession of current TWIC card or ability to obtain a TWIC card required
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read engineering specifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
