Job Summary
Field Welder will lay out, position, align, and fit components, perform arc/oxy-acetylene welding and brazing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, interpret blueprints and drawings, and ensure correct hole locations and assembly per specifications. Must read fabrication drawings, use precision measuring tools, work in field and shop environments, complete quality documentation, and adhere to safety/HSE standards. Requires 5+ years welding experience, valid driver’s license, ability to pass drug/background checks, and 6GR welding qualification; physical demands include climbing, lifting, and working around loud environments. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of welding experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must successfully pass a drug test, background check, and physical
- Must successfully pass a 6GR welding qualification test
- Proficient in welding using E7018 SMAW (Stick) electrodes
