Job Summary
Field Welder/Fabricator/Installer responsible for on-site fabrication, welding, and installation of sheet metal products including ductwork, specialty components, and custom assemblies across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites. Comfortable working in dynamic field environments, including on ladders and at elevation. Proficient in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick); ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or as part of a crew with minimal supervision. Location-based on Harrisburg, PA with on-site duties; benefits include Health Insurance, 401(k), and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Professional or School experience with Welding/Fabricating or Field Installation
- Proficiency in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick); AWS certification a plus
- Experience with galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and/or carbon steel
- Ability to safely work from ladders for extended periods — comfort with heights is required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites (no company vehicle required)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions
