Job Summary
Develop comprehensive visual merchandising strategies and generate detailed floor plans to optimize spatial layouts and customer flow across national outlets. Conduct bi-monthly and annual audits in Johannesburg, Durban, and Gqeberha to ensure aesthetic uniformity, while managing the production of props, print materials, and décor for store openings and media launches. Collaborate with buyers and marketing teams to execute product promotions and train in-store personnel on display standards and fixture maintenance protocols, all while monitoring production costs within designated budgets. This full-time role involves travel to Gauteng and national regions to oversee high-impact in-store displays that drive sales objectives for the brand's premium lifestyle retail division.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of proven experience as a Visual Merchandise Manager specifically within a premium retail store environment
- A comprehensive and professional portfolio of relevant visual design work
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a relevant diploma or degree in Visual Communications, Spatial Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field
- Willingness and flexibility to undertake regular national travel to meet auditing and store launch requirements
