Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of commercial and personal property to evaluate hazards, condition, and exposure. Underwrite, renew, and rate various lines of business while assisting independent contractor agents on risks outside their binding authority. Photograph findings and complete discovery forms to document inspection results. Frequently accompany agents on insured appointments to identify exposures and assume duties as a roving field underwriter for overflow workload. Participate in roof and special projects inspection programs to increase underwriting proficiency through on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
