Field Trainee

Field Trainee – Construction responsible for the safe, efficient installation of elevator and escalator units across project sites in the region, ensuring adherence to Otis installation standards, EH&S protocols, and project timelines. Responsibilities include installing new elevators and escalators, performing pre- and post-installation inspections, coordinating with customers and contractors, maintaining project schedules, traveling to project sites as needed, and documenting activities per the Field Installation Manual. Required qualifications include ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, ability to read technical drawings and perform related calculations, and solid safety and installation procedure knowledge.
