Job Summary
Verify ownership documents against vehicle VINs and process vehicle purchases in full compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Schedule appointments for customer pickups and manage daily check summaries while issuing payments for vehicles and tow services. Receive and record all delivered vehicles into the company database, then organize and ship documents for processing. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and complete due diligence on the weekly exception list. Monitor incoming and outgoing communications while maintaining a professional demeanor during all customer interactions. Work both indoor and outdoor environments within an auto salvage yard setting, adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proficiency in general computer skills, including data entry and email communication
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, including rain, snow, extreme heat, and cold, for the duration of a full shift
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including overtime as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift regularly throughout the assigned work shift
- Sufficient vision to safely perform all job functions as described
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
- Must review and sign an Arbitration Agreement
Desired Qualifications
- Basic automotive knowledge or related experience
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and vendors in a professional and efficient manner
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
