Job Summary
Field Title Clerk I responsible for accurate and compliant execution of vehicle purchases, verifying ownership documents against VINs, coordinating vehicle pickups with tow vendors, and maintaining records; requires professional, detail-oriented customer service in an auto salvage yard environment, with duties including document processing, reporting, and handling payments while complying with local, state, and federal laws. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather, communicate effectively in English (and Spanish preferred), and adhere to safety protocols and PPE usage; offers benefits (medical/dental/vision) and RRSP program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in general computer skills (data entry, email)
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including overtime
- Ability to work effectively in outdoor weather conditions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional customer interactions
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
- Basic automotive knowledge or related experience (preferred)
