Job Summary
Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region, including managing computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics. Install, update, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring asset accountability and detailed maintenance records. Utilize advanced electrical theory to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, employing diagnostic tools to calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to stringent specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED mandatory
- Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems and fiber optics
- Basic electronics principles
- Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips; hardware and software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time
