Job Summary
Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage security and IT hardware across multiple project environments; install cameras, access control, biometric systems, locking hardware; work with video and data cabling, assemble and deploy hardware using standard hand and power tools, and ensure equipment follows design specifications and technical drawings. Evaluate system performance, provide QA feedback, and support system hardening and configuration of Windows-based environments. Coordinate materials and equipment, manage receipt and tracking of hardware, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. Travel up to 85% may be required; must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain government-issued security clearances. Strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on workmanship in diverse indoor/outdoor environments are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in low voltage installation, security systems, or IT hardware deployment
- experience installing and maintaining video surveillance
- familiarity with design plans, schematics, and CAD drawings
- valid driver's license
- ability to obtain government security clearances
