Job Summary
Field Technology Specialist to install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage security and IT infrastructure across multiple project environments. Responsibilities include deploying cameras, access control, biometric systems, and related hardware; wiring with video/data cabling; assembling equipment; adhering to design specifications and CAD drawings; evaluating system performance; providing QA feedback; coordinating materials and ensuring timely project deliverables. Requires 3+ years in related fields, familiarity with IP-based systems, willingness to travel up to 85%, and ability to obtain government security clearance. Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, or BICSI are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in low voltage installation, security systems, or IT hardware deployment
- strong understanding of IP-based systems and networking fundamentals
- experience installing and maintaining video surveillance systems
- familiarity with design plans, schematics, and CAD drawings
- valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain government-issued security clearance
- industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, BICSI or similar are a plus
