Job Summary
Field Technology Specialist responsible for second-step technology support within the district: troubleshoot escalated user issues, install new technology (computers, software, peripherals, projectors, smart boards, telecommunications), maintain software/inventory, order parts, train Site Technology Specialists and end users, and provide written documentation and reports. Supports multiple locations, communicates with end users and administrators, coordinates Help Desk tickets, and participates in trainings. Requires ability to troubleshoot, manage inventory, prepare procedures and memos, and ensure equipment and licenses are up to date; criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance is required.
